The Sofia City Art Gallery presents Georgi Boyadzhiev-Boyadjana on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The exhibition includes 69 paintings and 10 sculptures and has a retrospective character – from 1960 until the first days of December 2003.
The artist’s creative nature is extremely dynamic. Its image system is distinguished by a transition from realistic detail to abstract form. The rich and contrasting palette is semantically related to the thematic cycles: “Music”, “Time”, “The second life of discarded old things”, “Analytics”, “Black Sea”, “Expressions”, “Portraits” and others.
