For the 100th jubilee dedicated to the birth of the artist Zlatyo Boyadjiev, the SAG presents an exhibition with 35 works from the 40s, 60s, and 70s of the 20th century. Most of them were provided especially for the occasion by the artist’s heirs. Also included are paintings from the largest corporate collection of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev – that of Litex-Commerce, from Eurobank AD – a Bulgarian bank with a targeted program for collecting and supporting Bulgarian fine arts, from the funds of the Sofia City Art Gallery.
The idea of ​​the exhibition is to offer the audience the opportunity to meet the worlds that the talented artist customs and recreates in his paintings. When selecting artists in search of thematic circles, connect with the ritual system of the Bulgarian and his way of life. The exhibition also presents landscapes, individual and collective family portraits.
